Jeffrey Lowe – Culinary Guide & Storyteller
I realized early on as a young man that food was a powerful way to bring people together. I was exposed to Eastern European hospitality at an early age, and even in kitchens where I didn’t speak the language, I found it natural and easy to connect. Somehow, I always felt at home—communicating through presence, shared meals, and warmth.
My childhood is peppered with memories of my mother teaching me to honor and nurture the land as the original and sacred source of all food. Because of her, a passion for good things—and a love for creativity—were planted deep in my heart. Humility, gratitude, and quality began to weave their way into my life through the rituals of food, family, and care.
As I moved into my early teen years, the separation within my family brought with it painful lessons. I lived through seasons where I had very little, and I began to understand the weight of hunger—not just for food, but for love, connection, and stability. That time gave me a clearer understanding of suffering, and a deep moral calling to serve others through nourishment and hospitality.
Separated and isolated, I often missed the childlike simplicity of love and connection. I became driven to help others feel what I longed for: a sense of home, of presence, of belonging. As I grew older, I refined my skills through various professional culinary roles, always with the desire to understand people—and how we connect—at the core.
For me, food has always been a language I love to speak. It’s arguably one of the most universal languages we have—even if we speak it only a little, we all understand its meaning. I aim to enrich the eloquence of food for anyone who loves connection as much as I do.
With every meal I prepare, every fruit tree I harvest, and every person I teach, I remember the little boy at the kitchen table of a family who spoke no English—yet made me feel more connected than if I’d read them a novel.
I consider myself a humble student of life, still learning the sacred language of food. And after 25 years of practice and a lifetime of devotion, I think I might be getting good.

A Devotional Culinary Practice
At Sacred Salt, we believe that food is more than flavor—it is medicine, memory, and meaning. We design immersive culinary experiences that awaken the senses, cultivate presence, and restore the lost art of human connection. Each event, dinner, and retreat is a living ritual—an invitation to slow down, soften, and savor.

Rooted in Connection
Our gatherings combine fine dining with breathwork, guided embodiment, sacred storytelling, and conscious hospitality. Whether you’re sitting down to an intimate seven-course dinner in your home, wandering a vibrant market in Oaxaca, or lying under the stars after a long-table meal in the Utah desert, the energy is the same: present, reverent, real.

Craft, and Ceremony
Sacred Salt is for the lovers of depth, beauty, and nourishment. For those who understand that how we eat is how we live—and that every bite, every breath, and every conversation can be a portal back to something sacred.
